In 2022, I became a member of the University of Sunderland’s self-assessment team, preparing the faculty of media and creative industries to apply for the Athena Swan program.
My work on this team included: evaluating the qualitative and quantitative work conducted, highlighting and organising key areas regarding gender equality that could be improved according to the data, and devising future actions to improve gender parity and opportunities across the faculty.
